Danny, give me a light !

This is one of the songs i wrote while sitting @ the pedestal at STYX ( a rock pub in Bangalore). This song Ive written comes from personal experiences of the things that i have seen and felt. I have taken the liberty to use instances of many lives to jot down something. I dont know if I have done complete justice to them.


Theme: A person afflicted with pain due to a long time under the influence of alcohol and drugs. His love left him to die, parent's couldn't cure him and the world cudn't care less. He has been confined to his room for the last 6 years with narcotics which have eaten him with time. He collects the last few drops of hope to get back to his feet. He asks Danny for a light ; this time not to light a cig but to see beyond the dark he has been living in.
